Punjab’s Travel Sector Gets Boost with Launch of Punjab – TAFI Chapter

The Travel Agents Federation of India (TAFI), a premier industry association with over 1,700 members across 12 chapters pan-India, marked a significant milestone today with the launch of its Punjab Chapter. The event symbolized a major step forward in the growth of the travel sector in Punjab, with the new chapter aimed at addressing travel trade challenges and strengthening the industry in the state.

The inauguration ceremony was graced by Chief Guest Shri Vaneet Dhir, Hon’ble Mayor of Jalandhar, who lit the ceremonial lamp and unveiled the curtain — marking the beginning of a new era for Punjab’s travel industry. In his address, Shri Dhir assured full support for the flourishing of the travel sector in Punjab and congratulated the newly appointed office bearers of the TAFI Punjab Chapter.

On this occasion, Shri Rajeshwar Kumar Dang (Xpert Travels) was announced as Chairman, Shri Mohit Jethi (Jethi Travels) as Secretary, and Shri Andeep Arora (RAB Tour & Travels) as Treasurer of the Punjab Chapter.

The launch event was further elevated by the presence of the TAFI National Team, led by Mr. Ajay Prakash, President, and Mr. Abbas Moiz, National General Secretary, along with other National Committee Members and the TAFI Northern India Chapter team. The National Joint Treasurer extended a heartfelt vote of thanks to all dignitaries, attendees, and participants for making the launch a grand success.

The TAFI Punjab Chapter is committed to addressing industry challenges and building a stronger, more unified travel trade network within the state. The evening concluded with a networking dinner, offering an excellent platform for travel professionals to connect, collaborate, and explore new opportunities.
