Jurists & Civil Services Shine on Greens: Grand Golf Tournament Concludes at Chandigarh

The prestigious Jurists and Civil Services Golf Tournament concluded on a high note today at the lush greens of the Chandigarh Golf Club, bringing together members of the judiciary and civil services in a spirit of camaraderie and sportsmanship.

A total of 106 participants, including 11 Hon’ble Justices and several distinguished civil servants, showcased their golfing skills in the early morning tournament that commenced with a shotgun start at 6:30 AM. Despite light rainfall, the pleasant weather and excellent course conditions ensured an enjoyable experience for all players.

R. K. Pachnanda, President of CGA, expressed heartfelt gratitude to the Chandigarh Golf Club for maintaining world-class standards and hosting a memorable event.

The Prize Distribution Ceremony was graced by Ashim Kumar Ghosh, Hon’ble Governor of Haryana, accompanied by Mrs. Mitra Ghosh. Gurmeet Singh Sandhawalia also marked his presence at the occasion.

  • Longest Drive: Tarun Lehal – 301 yards
  • Nearest to the Pin: Rajesh Dhara (CGST Panchkula) – 1 ft 2 inches
  • Straightest Drive: Rajan Gupta (Retd. IAS) – 6 inches
