People across party lines felicitate Satya Pal Jain on his 74th birthday

Punjab Governor Gulab Chand Kataria, Manish Tiwari, MP, Ashok Mittal, MP, City BJP President Jatinder Malhotra, Ex Mayor Davesh Moudgil, Ex Mayor Subhash Chawla were among the hundreds of dignitaries visited the residence of former MP of Chandigarh and Additional Solicitor General of Government of India, Satya Pal Jain on the occasion of his 74th birthday and congratulated him and wished him a long life and a very bright future. They felicitated Shri Jain by presenting him Shawls and Bouquets of flowers.

Satya Pal Jain celebrated his 74th birthday with great simplicity at his home. Hundreds of people from different parts of the city across the party lines visited him to congratulate him. Sweets were also distributed on this occasion.
Earlier, Mr. Jain performed Puja in his house with his entire family in the morning and started the birthday program only after the Puja.
Seeing the huge response of the people coming to congratulate him, Mr. Jain became emotional several times. He said that this love and affection of the people is his real strength.
It is noteworthy that Mr. Jain is a well-known constitutional expert and he represented many prominent leaders of the Bharatiya Janata Party in the Courts. He was elected as a member of the Lok Sabha from Chandigarh twice in 1996 & 1998 and has been a member of the Senate of Punjab University for the last about 48 years. For the last 11 years, he is working as the Additional Solicitor General for the Government of India in Chandigarh.
