Effective 1 September 2026, CzechTourism will be led by Tereza Hofmanová, who has until now served as Director of the B2B Cooperation and Research Department. She was appointed to head the Czech Tourism Authority by Minister for Regional Development Zuzana Mrázová.

Tereza Hofmanová is taking over the leadership of CzechTourism at a time when the government is preparing to transfer the agency from the Ministry for Regional Development to the Ministry of Industry and Trade. CzechTourism continues to carry out all its key activities both in Czechia and abroad.
“Tereza Hofmanová knows CzechTourism and the tourism sector extremely well. I am confident that her many years of experience will ensure the continuity of the agency’s operations and key activities throughout the upcoming changes,“ says Minister for Regional Development Zuzana Mrázová.

Tereza Hofmanová has worked in tourism for more than 15 years and has been part of the CzechTourism team since 2010. She studied International Relations and Diplomacy at the University of Economics in Prague. Since 2019, she has headed the Czech Convention Bureau – a platform that brings together key players in the field of convention and incentive tourism in Czechia and officially represents the country in international markets. She also plays a significant role in the activities of Strategic Alliance of European National Convention Bureaus and has long been dedicated to international cooperation in tourism. She is fluent in English, French, Spanish, and German. In her free time, she enjoys traveling and helping children and adults develop their language skills.
“CzechTourism has an important period ahead. I want the agency to continue operating at full capacity, move forward with its ongoing projects and remain a reliable partner for the regions and the tourism sector as a whole. Together with my colleagues, we will build on the work already under way, continue strengthening Czechia’s position as an attractive tourism destination and support inbound tourism,”adds Tereza Hofmanová, Director of the Czech Tourism Authority – CzechTourism.
Tereza Hofmanová succeeds František Reismüller, who had led CzechTourism since November 2023.
