BJP Announces New Leadership for Delhi and Tripura Units

The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) announced key organisational appointments for its Delhi and Tripura units, naming Union Minister of State Harsh Malhotra as the new Delhi BJP president and MLA Abhishek Debroy as the president of the party’s Tripura unit.

The appointments were announced through separate official notifications issued by BJP National General Secretary Arun Singh on May 28, 2026. The decisions were taken by BJP National President Nitin Naveen.

According to the notifications, both appointments have come into effect immediately. The leadership changes are being viewed as significant organisational moves aimed at strengthening the party structure ahead of upcoming political activities in Delhi and Tripura.
