MV Theft

         Sangram Singh Rana R/o # 1703, sector-52/D, Chandigarh reported that unknown person stole away his Bullet M/Cycle No. CH-01BP-1267 from near 2539/1, Sector-44/C, Chandigarh on the night intervening 31-08-2021. A case FIR No. 144, U/S 379 IPC has been registered in PS-34, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Monu Kanojia R/o # 703, Village Kansal Distt. Mohali (PB) reported that an unknown person stole away the complainant’s Splendor M/Cycle No. CH-01AP7040 from in front of SCO No. 2469-70, Sector-22/C, Chandigarh on 13.08.2021. A case FIR No. 140, U/S 379 IPC has been registered in PS-17, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress. 

Suresh Kumar R/o # # 176, Village Mauli Jagran, Chandigarh reported that an unknown person stole away his M/cycle No. HR-03Q-3102 from near complainant’s residence on 15-08-2021. A case FIR No. 108, U/S 379 IPC has been registered in PS-Mouli Jagran, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Action against illicit liquor

Chandigarh Police arrested Lucky R/o # 1008, sector-45, Village- Burail, Chandigarh and recovered 24 bottles of country-made liquor from his possession near PRTC Depot Ph-2, Ind. area, Chandigarh on 09.09.2021. A case FIR No. 126, U/S 61-1-14 Excise Act has been registered in PS-31, Chandigarh. Later, he was bailed out. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Two arrested for Robbery

Trilok Chand R/o # 90/1 Vill-Palsora, Chandigarh reported that Puran R/o Village Desu Majra, SAS Nagar, (PB) and Sonu R/o Village Palsora, Chandigarh robbed the complainant on knifepoint and took away his cash Rs 750/- and some documents, near PNB bank Palsora, Chandigarh on 08-09-2021. A case FIR No. 235, U/S 397, 34 IPC and added 411 IPC has been registered in PS-39, Chandigarh. Later, both accused have been arrested in this case.  Investigation of the case is in progress.
