Cheating

A case FIR No. 462, U/S 406, 420, 120-B IPC & 24 Immigration Act has been registered in PS-34, Chandigarh on the complaint of Preet Maninder Singh R/o VPO. 6V Dhanoor, Distt. Sri Ganganagar Rajasthan against Jaswinder Singh Dhillon, Himanshu, Tarun, Harman all R/o Sky Hub Consultancy SCO. No. 44, 3rd Floor, Sector 42-C Chandigarh, they cheated complainant of Rs. 18 lacs to send him abroad but they neither sent him abroad nor return money. Investigation of the case is in progress.

A case FIR No. 125, U/S 419, 420, 120B IPC has been registered in PS-Cyber Crime, Chandigarh on the complaint of Manoj Sehgal R/o #5807-B, Sector-38West, Chandigarh who reported that unknown person who cheated Rs 30,38,925/- through telegram on the pretext of part time job. The investigation of the case is in progress.

A case FIR No. 194, U/S 420 IPC has been registered in PS-17, Chandigarh on the complaint of Principal Shishu Niketan Model Sr. Sec. School, Sec. 22-D, Chandigarh who reported that Ankit Roll No. 106301148 who was appearing in exam for the post of Hostel Warden on 17-12-2023 and he was using electronic device during exam. The investigation of the case is in progress.

A case FIR No. 148 U/S 419, 420, 120B IPC has been registered in PS-26, Chandigarh on the complaint of Naresh Kumar, Superintendent Govt. Model High School, Police Lines, Sec. 26, Chandigarh against Sunny R/o # 2618, Sector-15, Distt. Panchkula (Hry) (age-25 years) who came to appearing in exam of EMRS on 17-12-2023 but his biometric didn’t match. The investigation of the case is in progress.

A case FIR No. 195 U/S 419, 420, 120B IPC has been registered in PS-39, Chandigarh on the complaint of Superintendent Sharda Sarvhitkari Model Sr. Sec. School, Sec.40-D, Chandigarh against Vikram Lohan R/o Village Bheni Amirpur, Distt. Hisar (Hry) and Balwinder Singh R/o Village Hasinga, Distt. Fatehabad (Hry). Accused Vikram was appearing in exam of EMRS on 17-12-2023 in place of accused Balwinder Singh. Both accused arrested. The investigation of the case is in progress.

Prisoner Act

A case FIR No. 84, U/S 52-A(1) The Prisons (Punjab Amendment) Act 2011 has been registered in PS-49, Chandigarh on the complaint of Parveen Kumar, CPS Model Jail Chandigarh against Deepak @ Ranga R/o Vill. Surakhpur, Distt. Jhajjar (Hry), age-24 years (now in Model JaiL, Burail chd.). During the search one mobile phone was recovered from his possession on 17.12.2023. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Theft

Kuldip Singh R/o # 1096, Sector 23-B, Chandigarh reported that unknown person who stolen away Rs. 30,000/-, gold jewellery and 25 live cartridges from his house on the night intervening 18/19-11-2023. A case FIR No. 195 U/S 380 IPC has been registered in PS-17, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Snatching

A lady resident of Burail Chandigarh reported that two unknown persons on motocycle who snatched complainant mobile phone near #1237, Sector-33C, Chandigarh on 16.12.2023. A case FIR No. 208, U/S 379-A, 34 IPC has been registered in PS-34, Chandigarh. Investigation of case is in progress.
