Four arrested for consuming liquor at public place
Chandigarh Police arrested Mohan Singh Negi R/o Aadrash Nagar, Nayagaon, Mohali, PB (age-30 yrs) while he was consuming liquor and creating nuisance at a public place near Market, Sector-11, Chandigarh on 25-12-2022. A case FIR No. 181, U/S 68-1(B) Punjab Police Act & 510 IPC has been registered in PS-11, Chandigarh. Later he was bailed out. Investigation of the case is in progress.
Chandigarh Police arrested Kultar Singh Rana R/o Chaman Colony Dhanas, Chandigarh (age-63 years) while he was consuming liquor and creating nuisance at a public place near Patel Market, Sector-15, Chandigarh on 25-12-2022. A case FIR No. 182, U/S 68-1(B) Punjab Police Act & 510 IPC has been registered in PS-11, Chandigarh. Later he was bailed out. Investigation of the case is in progress.
Chandigarh Police arrested Ajay Singh R/o Chaman Colony, Dhanas, Chandigarh (age-51 years) while he was consuming liquor and creating nuisance at a public place near Patel Market, Sector-15, Chandigarh on 25-12-2022. A case FIR No. 183, U/S 68-1(B) Punjab Police Act & 510 IPC has been registered in PS-11, Chandigarh. Later he was bailed out. Investigation of the case is in progress.

A case FIR No. 213, U/S 68-1(B) Punjab Police Act & 510 IPC has been registered in PS-Ind. Area, Chandigarh. Later he was bailed out. Investigation of the case is in progress.
One arrested under NDPS Act
Crime Branch of Chandigarh Police arrested Nok Singh R/o Village Dadudhar, P.O. Pujali Khabal, Distt. Kullu, HP (Age-34 years) and recovered 1.402 KG charas from his possession near T-point, back side Gurudwara, Sector-52, Chandigarh on 25.12.2022. A case FIR No. 325, U/S 20 NDPS Act has been registered in PS-36, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.
Action against illicit liquor
Chandigarh Police arrested Arun Kumar R/o # 6712, Sector-56, Chandigarh (Age 34 years) and recovered 95 Quarters of country made liquor from his possession near Gaushala, Maloya, Chandigarh on 25-12-2022. A case FIR No. 155, U/S 61-1-14 Excise Act has been registered in PS-Maloya, Chandigarh. He was later bailed out. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Anmoldeep Singh R/o # 2406 Ph-11 Mohali, PB alleged that Joginder Singh R/o # 102, Tribune Mitra Vihar, Sector-29, Panchkula (HR) Age 38 years, assaulted complainant and threatened him with revolver at Parking of Elatne Mall, Ph-1, Ind. Home Science College, Sector-10, Chandigarh who reported that unknown person stole away DC wires of Solar Power Plant installed at roof top of Govt. Home Science College, Sector-10, Chandigarh on 13.12.2022. Investigation of the case is in progress.
A case FIR No. 99, U/S 380, 34 IPC has been registered in PS-IT Park, Chandigarh on the complaint of Sanjeet Kumar R/o # 2389, New Indira Colony, Manimajra, Chandigarh who alleged that a person namely Dev R/o New Indira Colony, Manimajra, Chandigarh along with 2 other persons stole away one pair silver payal, one gold ring, taps and cash Rs 10,000/- from complainant’s house on 25.12.2022.
