CM Sukhvinder Singh appeals people for active participation in Census-2027

Chief Minister Thakur Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu along with his wife & MLA Kamlesh Thakur completed their self-enumeration for the second phase of Census-2027 at Oakover, Shimla.

On the occasion, the Chief Minister appealed the residents of the snow-bound areas of the state to actively participate in the second phase of Census-2027.

He said that for the proper assessment of the development needs and actual requirements of the state, citizens should avail the self-enumeration facility available from 17th to 31st August, 2026 and fill in their correct information. He urged the people of the state to provide accurate details to the enumerators visiting their homes from 1st to 30th September, 2026 and help make this important exercise a success.

Director, Census Operations, Himachal Pradesh, Deep Shikha Sharma and senior officers were also present on the occasion.
