EVA Wins More Kudos as a World’s Best International Airline Comfort, service, value earn “Travel + Leisure” readers’ votes

EVA Air has won more accolades, this time from Travel + Leisure’s readers as one of the “World’s Best” 10 Favorite International Airines of 2023. Based on their experiences with cabin comfort, inflight service, customer service and value, readers responding to the publication’s annual “World’s Best Awards” survey ranked EVA 10th. Survey results are available on the “Travel + Leisure” website and will appear in the August 2023 print edition, on newsstands July 21. As EVA steadily restores its schedules to pre-lockdown frequencies, it is also working to tailor procedures and services to better accommodate passengers’ personal airline travel preferences.
“We are continually improving and upgrading EVA’s digital services. At the same time, we are collaborating with luxury-brand leaders such as Giorgio Armani, FURLA, Kipling and Jason Wu, creating brand-new amenity kits and pajamas for Royal Laurel and Premium Economy Class passengers,” said EVA President Clay Sun. “We are also elevating the inflight dining experience with more to choose from, including the world’s most famous of China’s traditional foods, Cantonese cuisine, and creative new desserts. We aim to make our flights as comfortable and enjoyable as possible for every passenger.”
The “World’s Best Awards” survey was available to “Travel + Leisure” readers from October 24, 2022 through February 27, 2023. Covering 122 lists of favorites, approximately 165,000 “Travel + Leisure” readers completed the 2023 survey, an increase of almost 25 percent from pre-pandemic voting levels. They cast more than 685,000 votes for more than 8,500 unique properties with airlines, airports, hotels and cities among them.
EVA is one of only 10 SKYTRAX-rated 5-Star Airlines worldwide. It also won 12 separate awards, including ninth place among SKYTRAX’s “World’s Top 10 Airlines” and secured top spots for the “World’s Best Premium Economy Class” and “World’s Best Premium Economy Inflight Catering.” It ranked in Condé Nast Traveler’s prestigious 2021 Readers’ Choice Awards in the Top 10 Airlines in the World while TripAdvisor recognized it among the “Top 10 Airlines – World” and awarded it top spots in four more categories in the Travelers’ Choice Awards for Airlines. It also earned eighth place in AirlineRatings.com’s “Top 25 Best Airlines in the World for 2023” and won similarly high ratings for safety and COVID compliance in January 2023.
