FHTR Invites Dr. Lakshyaraj Singh Mewar to Rajasthan and Marwar Travel Marts Jaipur

A delegation of the Federation of Hospitality and Tourism of Rajasthan (FHTR) met Shreeji Huzoor Dr. Lakshyaraj Singh Mewar and invited him to attend the upcoming Rajasthan Domestic Travel Mart (RDTM), scheduled to be held in Jaipur from September 17 to 19, 2026, and the Marwar Travel Mart, to be organised in Jodhpur from September 20 to 22, 2026.

The delegation included FHTR President Surendra S. Shahpura, Senior Vice President Rajendra S. Pachar, Secretary General Tarun Bansal and Treasurer Rajendra Singh Jodha. During the meeting, FHTR representatives briefed Dr. Mewar about the new initiatives being introduced at both travel marts, including responsible tourism projects such as the cleaning and restoration of stepwells. They also shared details about the participation expected from travel agents, hotels, tour operators and other tourism stakeholders.

The delegation said both events are aimed at creating a positive impact on the growth of tourism in Rajasthan by bringing together key players from the domestic travel and hospitality sectors.

The two events are being organised by FHTR with the support of the Department of Tourism, Government of Rajasthan, along with stakeholder associations including HRAR, RATO and JHARA.

Representatives of hotel and travel associations from Udaipur and the Mewar region were also present at the meeting. Those attending included Rajesh Agarwal, President, Hotel Association of Udaipur; Usha Sharma, Vice President, HAU; Rajnikant Sharma, Founder, Rajasthan Hoteliers Club; Karan S. Champawat, President, Rajasthan Hoteliers Club; Anand Singh, Secretary, Travel Agent Association of Udaipur; Luv Kush, Vice President, TAAU; and Chef Vimal Dhar, President, Royal Rajasthan Chef Society.
