Following strong demand for its recently launched Bangkok service, Dubai-based carrier flydubai has announced the introduction of a second daily flight to Bangkok from 18 July. The additional service comes just weeks after the launch of the carrier’s daily flights to Don Mueang International Airport (DMK) on 01 July, offering passengers greater connectivity and more travel options to Thailand’s capital during the busy summer travel period.

With the start of its second daily service to Bangkok and the increase of its Krabi service from four weekly flights to daily operations, flydubai will operate up to 21 weekly flights to Thailand, expanding its presence in the market.
Sudhir Sreedharan, Divisional Senior Vice President of Commercial Operations at flydubai, said: “Just weeks after welcoming Bangkok as our latest destination, we are pleased to build on the strong demand for this route by introducing a second daily flight from Dubai. Don Mueang International Airport offers convenient access to central Bangkok, making it an attractive option for customers looking to make the most of their time in the city, especially during the busy summer travel period. The additional service provides greater flexibility and more travel options while reinforcing our commitment to enhancing connectivity and supporting Dubai’s position as a leading international aviation hub.”
In addition to its expanded services to Bangkok, flydubai recently launched flights to Benghazi in Libya and is scheduled to start flights to Aleppo in Syria from 20 July and to Pokhara in Nepal from 23 September.
Following the retrofit of its cabin interiors, passengers travelling with flydubai can enjoy an elevated onboard experience available across the carrier’s modern and efficient fleet of Boeing 737 aircraft. This includes lie-flat seats in Business Class, ergonomically designed seats in Economy Class, complemented by a variety of delicious meals, light snacks and refreshing beverages served throughout the flight. Customers can also enjoy hours of immersive inflight entertainment, now available on the majority of the carrier’s growing fleet.
