HEALTH DEPARTMENT CHANDIGARH CELEBRATES 100 CRORE COVID VACCINE DOSES BY INDIA

Health Department Chandigarh administration had a befitting celebration on the completion of 100 crores covid vaccine doses by India.

In view of the liberal availability of vaccines, a lot of beneficiaries from neighbouring states also got their jab done in Chandigarh. The state-level function was graced by Secretary Health Sh. Yashpal Garg, Additional Secretary Health Sh. Rubinderjit Singh Brar and Director Health and Family Welfare Dr Suman Singh.

The cake cutting ceremony was performed by the dignitaries in the presence of Medical Superintendent GMSH V K Nagpal and Deputy Medical Superintendent GMSH-16 Sh. Paramjit Singh. Beautiful Rangoli, Banners, Balloons and decorations made the venue look elegant. Secretary Health congratulated the health team for their untiring work and excellent vaccination undertaken in the City Beautiful.

One-hundredth beneficiary was honoured by a memento by the health secretary and health staff was given commendation certificates. Similar celebrations were undertaken at various Health and Wellness centres and civil hospitals Sector22, 45 and Manimajra with a lot of enthusiasm.
