In Kurdi, Mohali, the Health Minister, Dr. Balbir Singh, recently inaugurated a significant healthcare initiative—a free multispecialty hospital aimed at serving residents from 30 neighboring villages. The hospital’s establishment marks a milestone in enhancing healthcare accessibility in the region. Dr. Satish Garg, the founder and president of Satya Sai Manav Seva Trust, highlighted additional amenities during the inauguration, including a newly launched free ambulance service provided by Goodlass Nerolac Paints Charitable Trust for patient convenience.
Looking forward, the multispecialty hospital is slated to expand its capacity to accommodate 52 beds, reflecting its commitment to meeting the healthcare needs of the community comprehensively. Dr. Balbir Singh underscored the pivotal role of such facilities in advancing medical services and enhancing the quality of life for residents. The initiative was made possible through collaborative efforts with Satya Sai Manav Seva Trust, emphasizing the importance of public-private partnerships in healthcare development.
The inauguration ceremony was attended by prominent figures, including businessmen, social workers, and key members of Satya Sai Manav Seva Trust such as co-chairman Satish Sharma, general secretary advocate Amar Vivek Aggarwal, and other distinguished individuals like Praveen Kansal, CMD Patron Royal Estate Group, as well as Ketan Sharma, Ajay Sahi, Arun Walia, and Jitendra Kumar. Their presence signifies a collective commitment to advancing healthcare accessibility and community well-being in Kurdi and its surrounding areas.
