IndiGo enhances domestic connectivity from Hyderabad and Ahmedabad

These new routes and frequencies aim to enhance domestic connectivity and bolster mobility from the capital cities of Telangana and Gujarat, considering the increased demand for air travel in the states from business and leisure travellers, and growing enthusiasm around spiritual tourism. These new and additional connections will also help customers connect from Hyderabad and Ahmedabad to international destinations across Asia. With the addition of these flights, IndiGo now offers 1220 direct flights a week from Hyderabad to 69 destinations and 523 weekly flights from Ahmedabad to 35 destinations.

Over the past year IndiGo has also built Hyderabad’s connectivity to Southeast Asia with direct flights to Bangkok, Male, Ras Al Khaimah, Singapore, and Colombo, making Hyderabad a strong regional hub in South India. As the state government focusses on tapping the tourism potential of Telangana through eco, spiritual and medical tourism, IndiGo’s new routes will provide travellers with increased access to tourist attractions such as the Char Minar, Ramoji Film City, Golconda Fort, Shri Jagannath Temple, Birla Mandir, Hussain Sagar Lake, Qutub Shahi Tombs, Birla Science Museum, Snow World, Paigah Tombs, and more.

Hirasar village is located in Gujarat and provides a gateway for travellers to and from the nearby city of Rajkot and the Saurashtra region. Enhancing connectivity from Hirasar will provide customers with increased access to tourist attractions in Rajkot such as ISKCON temple, Pradyuman Zoological park, Jubilee garden, Shri Ramakrishnan Ashram, Aji Dam garden, Ranjit Vilas Palace, etc.

Udaipur, also known as the ‘City of Lakes,’ mesmerizes visitors with its breathtaking beauty enhanced by serene lakes, majestic palaces, and intricate architecture. Tourists flock to Udaipur to experience its rich cultural heritage, vibrant markets, and scenic boat rides on shimmering lakes, making it a truly enchanting destination. Jodhpur, widely known as the “Blue City,” has numerous forts, palaces, and temples. Jodhpur is also a major industrial city in Rajasthan, with several industrial complexes.
