Indonesia Makes ‘All Indonesia’ App Mandatory for All Incoming Travellers

The Voice of Chandigarh

In a major move to streamline border formalities, Indonesia has made the use of its new “All Indonesia” app mandatory for all international visitors.

The app, which integrates immigration, customs, health, and quarantine declarations, is now live at Bali, Jakarta, Surabaya, and Batam entry points from September 1, 2025. Starting October 1, 2025, it will be compulsory at all international airports and seaports across the country.

Travellers must download the app, complete required declarations up to three days before arrival, and obtain a QR code for immigration and customs clearance. Authorities say this will significantly cut processing time and enhance security.

The new system, however, does not replace visa or e-visa requirements. Tourists visiting Bali will also need to pay the existing tourism levy of IDR 150,000 via LoveBali or at the airport.

With this digital upgrade, Indonesia aims to make visitor entry seamless while boosting efficiency at its borders.
