The Voice of Chandigarh : A group of caring and compassionate individuals from Chandigarh have come together to establish a world-class hospital that aims to provide high-quality treatment to the underprivileged and economically weaker sections of society. The hospital, named Sri Sathya Sai Manav Seva, is located in the village of Kurari in Mohali.

While talking to The Voice of Chandigarh Satish Garg Founder and President of Sri Sathya Sai Manav Seva said that to achieve their noble objective, the group has formed a registered trust, which will oversee the running and management of the hospital. The hospital is equipped with state-of-the-art facilities and boasts 52 beds. One of the key features of this hospital is the provision of palliative care for post-operative patients and oncology surgeries. Such specialized care is not available in the region and will be of immense benefit to the poor and underprivileged sections of society.

The hospital also aims to provide door-to-door healthcare services to a cluster of 30 villages, which includes healthcare for women and children. The hospital has a well-equipped Mobile Hospital Van that will provide eye and dental care. As per experts, eye and teeth ailments are often the starting point of disease in the human body. This initiative will help in early detection and treatment of various ailments, thereby improving the overall health of the community.

Additionally, the hospital will have an in-house skilled training institute that will provide training and skill development opportunities to the local youth, thereby creating employment opportunities in the region. Overall, the Sri Sathya Sai Manav Seva Hospital is a visionary initiative that will have a far-reaching impact on the lives of the underprivileged in the region.
