Ministry of Tourism, Govt of India (Northern Region) organises FAM trip and Seminar for tourism stakeholders on 17-18 December, 2023 for promotion of Alwar and Sariska as tourist destinations

Ministry of Tourism, Govt of India (Northern Region) organised a FAM trip and Seminar for tourism stakeholders on 17-18 December, 2023 for promotion of Alwar and Sariska as tourist destinations to promote sustainable tourism development, foster collaboration among stakeholders, and contribute to the holistic growth of the tourism sector in Sariska & nearby region. A Tourism Stakeholders Seminar at Hotel Lemon Tree, Alwar was held on 17th December, 2023 to serve as a platform to discuss and explore opportunities for promoting Alwar and Sariska Tiger Reserve and its surrounding areas. The Ministry of Tourism, Govt. of India (Northern Region) extended invitation to stakeholders in Delhi/NCR including 10 ADTOI members.

After a visit to the Alwar Museum, Bala Quila – Alwar Fort, a Tourism Stakeholders Conference was organized attended by the members of ADTOI, IATO, Local tourist guides, officers of the Ministry of Tourism, Tourism department of Alwar District, officials of the Forest Department and the local media. The conference discussed the promotion of Alwar as a part of the Golden Triangle and promoting Alwar as a standalone tourist destination. Next day the participants left for Sariska Tiger reserve, and saw tiger, spotted deers, sambhar deers, Nilgai, Marsh crocodiles, wild ducks, softshell turtles, cranes, Eurasian spoonbills, Kingfishers, Woodpeckers, Quails, partridges, and some jackals. The team left for Delhi after the lunch.
