Panchkula MC Polls Heat Up as AAP Fields 11 Candidates

Panchkula: The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) has officially stepped up its preparations for the upcoming Panchkula Municipal Corporation Elections 2026 by announcing its first list of 11 candidates, signaling an aggressive push to expand its footprint in Haryana’s urban politics.

The list, released by Haryana AAP President Dr. Sushil Gupta, features candidates across key wards of Panchkula. Amrit Kaur has been fielded from Ward 1, while Vishal Bhateja will contest from Ward 5. Rakesh Malik has been nominated from Ward 7 and Vinod Kumar from Ward 8.

For Ward 10, the party has chosen Manjesh Kumar, while Sanjeev Kumar will represent AAP in Ward 12. Vishal Bhardwaj has been given the ticket for Ward 13 and Sumit Kumar for Ward 14. Pinky will contest from Ward 15, Roshni Devi from Ward 16, and Ashok Kumar from Ward 17.

With this announcement, AAP has made its intent clear to mount a strong challenge in the civic polls. The selection reflects a mix of fresh faces and local representation, aimed at connecting with grassroots voters.

Political activity in Panchkula is now intensifying, as parties finalize their candidates and gear up for a competitive electoral battle in the Municipal Corporation elections.
