Pure Hearts, 600+Bright Smiles: Lions Club Chandigarh Greater is Building a Healthy Tomorrow

Reiterating its unwavering commitment to public welfare and community service, Lions Club Chandigarh Greater successfully organized a massive Dental Camp at the Government Model High School, Ram Darbar, Phase-1, Chandigarh.
The mission was successfully carried out under the leadership of Club President MJF Lion Ajay Gupta, Secretary Lion Vijay Puniani and Lion Sudeep Bamra Treasurer.
This special camp was organized in collaboration with the Indian Dental Association (IDA), Mohali. Under the supervision and guidance of Dr. Sandeep Arora, a dedicated team of about 15 senior and junior doctors and technicians—including IDA Mohali President Dr. Tripta Ahluwalia, Dr. Poonam, Secretary, Dr. Vishesh Dhir (Treasurer)—enthusiastically examined the students’ teeth and provided them with essential dental treatment.
School teachers—Komal Sharma, Kulwinder Singh, Lokesh Kumar, and Sandeep Kumar played a pivotal role in maintaining discipline and systematically bringing the children for check-ups.
To improve the school’s basic infrastructure, the club presented a new water cooler to the school Headmaster, Dr. Dharmendra Shastri. Dr. Dharmendra Shastri had informed the Lions Club that an additional water cooler was urgently needed for the students due to the construction of the new school building. Keeping this requirement in mind, the club gladly donated the water cooler.
Several senior and esteemed members of Lions Club Chandigarh Greater were present on this occasion. Notable attendees included Lion K K Singla (ZC), PMJF Lion Vijay Mehan, MJF Lion Sushil Kapoor, MJF Lion Sanjeev Monga, Lion N.K. Chawla, Lion Harcharan Singh, Lion Rajkumar Basambu, Lion Manish Bhasin, PMJF Lion Dr. Ranvir Uppal, MJF Lion Sonia Arora, Lion Pritam Singh, Lion Rakesh Barotia, and Lion Gautam Uppal.
At the end of the program, the club expressed its heartfelt gratitude to School Principal Dr. Dharmendra Shastri, the school staff, and the entire team of IDA doctors and technicians for their invaluable cooperation and active participation.
