TAAP AGM 2026: A Stronger, Future-Ready Roadmap for Pune’s Travel Trade

The Travel Agents Association Pune (TAAP) successfully conducted its AGM 2026 at Marigold, Bavdhan, Pune, bringing together TAAP members, Patron Members, past presidents, industry partners and well-wishers.

The AGM, under the leadership of President Nilesh Bhansali, focused on TAAP’s achievements as well as its future roadmap for building a stronger, united and future-ready travel trade community.

TAAP’s Key Priorities for the Future

TAAP presented a clear roadmap focusing on Technology & AI, Professionalism, Member Protection, Business Networking and Member Welfare. Key initiatives include developing a TAAP digital ecosystem with AI, digital marketing, content creation and lead generation; introducing professional standards, verified DMC information, standardised contracts and certification; strengthening representation on airline, airfare, tourism policy and travel-agent issues; and creating more business opportunities through tourism boards, DMCs, hotels and industry partners.

A special initiative announced was to provide networking opportunities to TAAP Patron Members without any additional charge, encouraging collaboration, referrals and business development.

The AGM also received valuable presentations, sponsorship and support from Bania Travel Nepal, Team Travel Bhutan, Mr. Ruvishka from Sri Lanka, Nature’s Sprout represented by Ms. Megha Karla, Continental Travel Consortium represented by Ms. Gauri Yadwad, and OA Globe DMC represented by Mr. Girish Vidhwans. TAAP expressed its sincere appreciation for their spontaneous support and contribution towards the event.

Under the leadership of President Nilesh Bhansali, TAAP aims to evolve into a stronger professional, technology-driven and business-oriented ecosystem, enabling members to learn, connect, collaborate, grow, protect and lead.
