Thailand Continues Visa-Free Entry for Indian Tourists; Stay of Up to 30 Days Allowed

The Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) has reiterated that Indian nationals travelling to Thailand for tourism purposes can continue to enjoy visa-free entry under the country’s Visa Exemption Scheme.

Under the scheme, Indian tourists are not required to obtain a visa or pay any visa fee before travelling to Thailand for leisure visits. Eligible travellers can stay in Thailand for up to 30 days without a visa, making travel to the popular Southeast Asian destination more convenient and cost-effective.

The visa exemption is aimed at promoting tourism and encouraging more Indian visitors to explore Thailand’s diverse attractions, including its beaches, cultural landmarks, shopping destinations, nightlife, and culinary experiences.

The Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT), New Delhi Office, has advised travellers to stay updated on the latest travel guidelines and entry requirements through its official communication channels before planning their trip.

The continued visa exemption is expected to further strengthen tourism ties between India and Thailand and boost outbound travel from India to one of its most preferred international holiday destinations.
