Time to eliminate all evils including corruption – Satya Pal Jain

The Voice of Chandigarh : Satya Pal Jain, Ex-City MP and Additional Solicitor General of India has said that Dussehra is a day of celebrating the victory of Goodness over Evil and Truth over falsehood. He said that today people have to once again resolve and reiterate their determination of defeating evils like corruption, hunger, poverty and unemployment, which are the new facets of evil & falsehood.

Mr. Jain was addressing large gathering as Chief Guest in the function organized by Dushehra Committees in Sector 43 and Sector 48 to celebrate the Vijay Dashmi Parv. Mr. Jain put the effigies of Ravan, Meghnath & Kumbhkaran to flames in Sector 43.

Mr. Davesh Moudgil, Ex Mayor of Chandigarh said that it should be a matter of pride for every Indian to believe in Indian culture, Indian traditions and Indian value system. He said that the message of Lord Ram and Ramayan should be spread in the entire world.

Among others, Councillor Prem Lata, Banti, Anamika Walia, Harvinder Bir Singh Cheema, Dr. Rajesh Mittal, M. K. Garg, G. K. Girdhar and Gian Singh Thind, were also present on this occasion.
