Tourism New Zealand Strengthens India Focus, Appoints Tishtar Parakh as Country Manager

Tourism New Zealand has announced the appointment of Tishtar Parakh as its new Country Manager for India, signalling a renewed push to expand its presence in one of its fastest-growing outbound travel markets.
Operating from Mumbai, Parakh will be responsible for driving visitor growth from India while deepening partnerships with travel trade stakeholders and industry players. Her role will focus on enhancing New Zealand’s visibility among Indian travellers and strengthening strategic collaborations across the sector.
Before taking up this position, Parakh was associated with VisitBritain as Travel Trade Lead, where she played a key role in executing destination marketing campaigns targeting both trade partners and consumers in India.
With this appointment, Tourism New Zealand aims to further accelerate its outreach efforts and tap into the growing demand for international travel among Indian tourists.
