VIP Skybags Becomes Travel Partner for Chennai Super Kings; Gurpreet Ghuggi Launches New Range

Mohali: VIP Skybags has entered into an agreement with Chennai Super Kings (CSK) as its travel partner. Under this collaboration, a new range of luggage and travel accessories was launched today at the VIP Exclusive Showroom in Sector 79 by renowned celebrity Gurpreet Ghuggi.

Speaking on the occasion, Gurpreet Ghuggi shared his views on Punjabi cinema, stating that audiences today actively seek meaningful content, and filmmakers are now compelled to change their approach accordingly.

On this occasion, showroom owner Vivek Jolly shared his vision and background, mentioning that he also operates the well-known Bakshi showroom located in Sector 19-C, Chandigarh, which has been serving customers for over 40 years. Over the decades, Bakshi showroom has built a strong reputation among Tricity residents for authenticity, premium quality, and reliable service.

He explained that the idea behind opening the Mohali showroom was to extend the same trusted experience to customers closer to their homes. Keeping in mind the increasing traffic congestion and parking challenges in Chandigarh, the goal was to provide residents of Mohali, Kharar, and nearby areas with a more convenient and hassle-free shopping alternative—without compromising on product quality or brand trust.

During the event, Kapil Bhatia from VIP Industries Limited also shared his insights, highlighting the company’s pioneering role in India’s luggage industry. He noted that before the 1970s, most Indian travelers relied on traditional heavy trunks or wooden boxes. It was VIP Industries that introduced modern, lightweight, and durable luggage solutions, fundamentally transforming the travel experience in India.
