Governor Prof. Ashim Kumar Ghosh watches special screening of Film Nalanda Mahavihara

Haryana Governor Prof. Ashim Kumar Ghosh watched the film Nalanda Mahavihara at a special screening organised at Lok Bhavan, here. The First Lady of Haryana, Mitra Ghosh, also graced the occasion with her august presence.
Speaking on the occasion, Governor Prof. Ashim Kumar Ghosh described the film as a sincere and commendable effort to preserve and promote the country’s rich heritage legacy through the powerful medium of cinema. He said that Nalanda was not merely an institution but a global centre of learning that attracted thousands of scholars, monks and seekers of knowledge from across the world, standing as a timeless symbol of India’s intellectual and cultural eminence.The primary objective of the film is to create awareness among the public and encourage people to reflect upon the enduring values that help build a better, more responsible and harmonious society. He observed that Nalanda Mahavihara effectively blends entertainment with a strong and meaningful social message, making it a film of both cultural significance and contemporary relevance.
The film has been produced by Deepak Diwan and directed by Arvind Gupta.
Prominent among those present on the occasion were Keshni Anand Arora, former Chief Secretary, Haryana; Vijaykumar Bhavikatti, Secretary to the Governor; Dheeraj Setia, ADC (P) to the Governor, along with the cast and crew of the film.
