Heavy Rainfall Washes Out Road on Madhya Marg; Traffic Diversion Announced

Heavy rainfall has washed out a portion of the road leading from Transport Light Point towards Grain Market Chowk on Madhya Marg, causing obstruction to normal traffic movement.

In view of public safety, Chandigarh Traffic Police has announced a diversion for traffic coming from Panchkula. Vehicles will be diverted from Transport Light Point via the backside of Police Lines towards ITI Light Point.

Commuters have been advised to avoid the affected stretch, follow the designated diversion route and cooperate with Chandigarh Traffic Police personnel deployed at the spot.
