PGIMER Chandigarh Organizes Workshop on “IT & Cyber Security and Cyber Hygiene”

The Postgraduate Institute of Medical Education & Research (PGIMER), Chandigarh , organized a workshop on “ IT & Cyber Security and Cyber Hygiene” on 03.09.2026 as a precursor to Vigilance Awareness Week 2026. This initiative was held in line with the directives of the Central Vigilance Commission (CVC), New Delhi, which has advised all organizations to undertake a three-month campaign from 17 August, 2026, to 16 November, 2026.

Naveen Bindra, System Analyst delivered a comprehensive and insightful presentation on the various aspects of Cyber Security and Cyber Hygiene. The PowerPoint presentation by the officer aimed to raise awareness among employees, contributing to the institute’s ongoing capacity-building efforts. The workshop saw active participation from 80 individuals, including doctors, nursing staff, paramedical personnel, and administrative employees.
This initiative highlights PGIMER’s dedication to building institutional capacity and fostering a culture of Preventive Vigilance, which is crucial for promoting ethical practices and enhancing the overall efficiency of the institution.
