One arrested under NDPS Act
Chandigarh Police arrested a lady resident of Chandigarh (age-24 yrs) and recovered 13.42gram heroine from her possession from backside ISBT Sector-43, Chandigarh on 01-09-2023. A case FIR No. 277 U/S 21 NDPS Act has been registered in PS-36, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.
Assault
A case FIR No. 85 U/S 324, 341, 506, 34 IPC has been registered in PS-Sarangpur, Chandigarh on the complaint of Rinku R/o # 1004/A EWS Colony, Dhanas, Chandigarh who alleged that Vijay, Santosh, Navratan, Ashok, Subham and Angrej all R/o Dhanas, Chandigarh, they attack on complainant with sharp weapon near# 955/A EWS Colony Dhanas, Chandigarh on 29-08-2023. Investigation of the case is in progress.
Cheating
A case FIR No. 75 U/S 419, 420 IPC has been registered in PS-19, Chandigarh on the complaint of Harinderpal Singh Bedi R/o# 140, Sec-19C Chandigarh who reported that Manish Kumar Shah R/o MTX, IT Consulting Service Executive Center Level-1 Unit-2, Shalpuria Sattava, Hyderabad. They signed complainant’s son who was played in Asian games 2018, for advertisement through mail and messages but they didn’t pay him back US $ 25000/- in 2019. Investigation of the case is in progress.
A case FIR No. 139, U/S 420, 406, 467, 468, 470, 471, 120B IPC has been registered in PS-34, Chandigarh u/s 156 (3) CrPC for the directions of Distt. Court, Sector-43, Chandigarh against Gulshan Kumar, Ashok Kumar and others of Sunland Education SCO 260-261 1st Floor, Sector-32, Chandigarh. All of them fraud of Rs. 4 lacs besides 20% profit share of the complainant till date by illegal Embezzlements and putting him in loss. Investigation of the case is in progress.
